HPD, public push traffic safety

The Honolulu Police Department and members of the community will hold rallies publicizing a "Live and Let Live" sign-waving campaign to promote traffic safety in December.
The public is asked to join district lawmakers and the police at a kickoff rally at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Kapolei police substation, 1100 Kamokila Blvd.
Here is a list of sign-waving events:
Monday, 2 to 4 p.m., Kapolei Fairgrounds at Fort Weaver Road and A'awa Street.
Tuesday, 3 to 5 p.m., Farrington Highway and Ho'okele Street in Ma'ili.
Wednesday, 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., Kapolei Fairgrounds.
Thursday, 3 to 5 p.m., Farrington Highway and Ho'okele Street.
Dec. 17, 2 to 4 p.m., Kapolei Fairgrounds.
Dec. 18, 3 to 5 p.m., Farrington Highway and Ho'okele Street.
Dec. 19, 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., Kapolei Fairgrounds.
Dec. 20, 3 to 5 p.m., Farrington Highway and Ho'okele Street.
