POPS GO MOTOWN
It's always interesting to see what Matt Catingub has up his pops sleeve each season. This year he puts some R&B into the holiday season with "A Motown Christmas with The Four Tops and The Spinners" Dec. 7 and 8.
Then on Jan. 4 and 5 smooth songwriter Burt Bacharach joins the Pops for a repertoire of his giant book of classics — "The Look of Love," "Walk on By" and more.
Tickets are $14-$79. For tickets: 792-2000. www.honolulusymphony.com.
