'Ewa Weed & Seed's 2007 National Night Out is from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hale Pono Boys and Girls Club in 'Ewa Beach.

Community policing teams from Makaha to Waipahu, and even some from Honolulu, will do symbolic patrols of the neighborhood.

From there, they will take part in a program that will include U.S Attorney Ed Kubo Jr., Assistant Police Chief Michael Kaneshiro and others.

Dinner will also be served for everyone in attendance, and there will be a food distribution for the needy.
