A night of blues with 'Moonchild' at Irish Rose

You don't have to wait for a blue moon to enjoy fine blues music: Songwriter and guitarist Travis "Moonchild" Haddix is back in town. Hear Haddix's award-winning sound, backed by Bobby Thursby and his band, at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Irish Rose Saloon, 480 'Ena Road in Waikiki. The Mississippi native was inspired early in life by the legendary B.B. King, and his discs include "Mean Ole Yesterday," "Mud Cakes" and "Blues From Staghorn Street."
