Advertiser Staff

For the first time, Kailua's St. John Vianney School is planning a lu'au to raise money for capital improvements at the school.

The lu'au, set for 5 to 10 p.m. May 4 on school grounds, will include Hawaiian food, entertainment and a silent auction.

"We hope our lu'au will become a successful annual event," said Lida Morgado, president of the school's Parent Teacher Student Association.

Tickets, available at the school office, are $20 per person and $3 for children 9 and younger.

A $3 keiki menu is available for children 9 and younger.
