  • LYLE GALDEIRA has joined Prudential Locations' Wai'alae office as a real estate agent. Galdeira comes to Prudential after 30 years as a broadcast journalist. His work has included the popular TV news segments "Does It Work?" and "Cheap Eats."

  • AMY MILLER has been named vice president of institutional advancement at Bishop Museum. She will oversee the museum's overall fund development operations — including membership, annual gifts, foundation support, fundraising, special events, capital support and the planned giving program. JODI SHIN YAMAMOTO has been named vice president and general counsel and will manage legal issues, as well as negotiate contracts and agreements. LINDA CHOCK has joined the museum's sales and marketing team as visitor services department manager. Her responsibilities include daily admissions and facility rentals, and sales and marketing division customer service efforts. She was most recently director of group sales for the Polynesian Cultural Center.

  • JUDE LAMPITELLI who has been stage manager at the historic Hawai'i Theatre since July 1998, has been promoted to the newly created post of production manager.

  • JEANJEAN BOWER has been promoted to director of operations of It's All About Kids, a Hawai'i-based company that provides a computer-based educational curriculum to students in kindergarten through the eighth grade.

  • KATHLEEN COSTELLO has been named director of marketing communications for two key Marriott International properties in Hawai'i: the 546-room Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and the 555room Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort.

  • Former city deputy corporation counsel DONNA LEONG has been named senior vice president and chief legal officer for Outrigger Enterprises Inc., overseeing all the company's legal affairs. RUTHANN YAMANAKA has been named senior vice president of human resources and planning, heading Outrigger's human resources department, which serves more than 3,000 Outrigger employees system-wide.
