Three men sought in Downtown stabbing case

Advertiser Staff

Police were looking yesterday for three men, estimated to be between 17 and 19 years old, after a 29-year-old man was stabbed early in the morning in downtown Honolulu.

The victim told police he got into an argument with one of the three at about 12:40 a.m. near the corner of North Kukui Street and Nu'uanu Avenue.

The disagreement escalated into a fistfight, during which one of the three men stabbed the older man, police said.

The three suspects ran away on Nu'uanu Avenue.

The stabbing victim was taken to The Queen's Medical Center and was listed in serious condition, police said.
