Frazier is 'influential' NCAA student-athlete

ESPN Classic yesterday named University of Hawai'i athletic director Herman Frazier as one of the "100 Most Influential Student-Athletes" in the history of the NCAA.
The show aired yesterday.
According to a news release distributed by UH officials, the list includes "those who have made a significant impact or major contributions to society."
Frazier, 50, is a 1977 graduate of Arizona State, where he was an eight-time All-American in track and team captain of the 1977 national championship team.
At the 1976 Olympics, he earned a gold medal in the 4x400-meter relay, and won bronze in the 400-meter dash.

EX-UH VOLLEYBALL STAR PRINCE WILL ATTEND
Victoria Prince, a former All-America volleyball player at the University of Hawai'i, is the featured instructor at this weekend's Hawai'i Speed and Quickness clinics at the UH athletic complex.
The clinics are Saturday and Sunday, with sessions from 8:30-10 a.m. for ages 7 to 12 and 10:30 a.m.-noon for those 13 and older.
