Discipline is necessary to master our lives. We must avoid the common error of thinking discipline is punishment. It is not punishment but training.

An artist must have discipline if he is to perfect his art. An athlete must train for months to win a race. A musician must practice for hours and hours to master his instrument. Don't be afraid of discipline.
