BLACK EYED PEAS AUG. 14

Tickets go on sale tomorrow for a concert by hip-hop favorite the Black Eyed Peas Aug. 14 at the Blaisdell Arena.

The Peas' latest release is "Monkey Business." Its 2003 "Elephunk" — for which the group won the Grammy for best rap performance by a duo or group — sold 7 1/2 million copies worldwide.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets — $45 and $58.50 — will be available from 9 a.m. at the box office and Ticketmaster outlets. (877) 750-4400, www.ticketmaster.com.

BIRTHDAY BASH JULY 28-29

The KCCN FM100 Birthday Bash turns sweet 16 with this year's event, July 28-29 at the Waikiki Shell.

July 28's lineup: Katchafire, Fiji, B.E.T., 'Ekolu, Brother Noland, One Groove, Next Generation, and Kani Makou. July 28's lineup: Katchafire, Natural Vibrations, Kapena, Ho'onu'a, Kekai Boyz, Koa'uka, Malino and Lahaina Grown.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., the music begins at 5:30 p.m. Lawn tickets are $16 each night if purchased before July 1, or $20 afterward; terrace tickets are $17 and $21.50; pool tickets are $28.
