Stanford wins Austin regional

Chris Minaker had five hits, two RBIs and scored six runs, and Michael Taylor added a two-run homer to lead Stanford to a 17-7 victory over North Carolina State in the Austin (Texas) Regional and advance to the Super Regionals for the sixth time.
Earlier yesterday, the Wolfpack eliminated defending champion Texas, 6-3.
Stanford will meet Pac-10 foe Oregon State in the best-of-three Super Regionals this week.
Stanford (33-25) led 11-7 before a six-run ninth inning sealed its victory. The Cardinal had a season-high 24 hits and 17 runs.
Jonathan Diaz had an RBI double and Matt Camp doubled in the eighth inning to help North Carolina State (41-22) defeat Texas (41-21).
LEXINGTON, KY.
College of Charleston 7, Kentucky 4: Phillip Coker had a grand slam in College of Charleston's six-run first inning en route to a victory over Kentucky (44-17) to win its first NCAA regional.
The Southern Conference tournament champs swept the regional by beating Notre Dame, Ball State and Kentucky. The Cougars (46-15), seeded second, will face Georgia Tech in the Super Regionals.
ATLANTA
Georgia Tech 8, Vanderbilt 4: Matt Wieters homered twice to finish off an amazing weekend, Ryan Turner had the longest outing of his career and Georgia Tech (48-16) completed its unbeaten run through the Atlanta (38-27) regional.
The Yellow Jackets advanced to the Super Regionals for the third year in a row.
ATHENS, GA.
Georgia 7, Florida State 1: Josh Morris' three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning, his school record-tying 23rd of the season, led Georgia (44-20) past Florida State (44-20), setting up a title game tonight between the same teams.
LINCOLN, NEB.
Miami 10, Manhattan 4: Scott Maine pitched a complete game and Jon Jay hit a two-run homer in a five-run seventh inning that helped carry Miami (39-21) over Manhattan (34-23) and the Lincoln regional championship.
Miami, in the NCAA tournament for a record 34th straight year, won its 13th consecutive regional title. The Hurricanes play Mississippi in the Super Regionals.
OXFORD, MISS.
Mississippi 12, Tulane 4: Mark Wright homered and drove in four runs, and Mississippi (43-20) beat Tulane (43-21) to win the Oxford Regional and claim a second straight berth in the Super Regionals.
Regional MVP Justin Brashear also had four RBIs for Ole Miss.
TUSCALOOSA, ALA.
Alabama 14, Troy 5: Matt Downs drove in four runs and Kody Valverde went 5 for 6 with two RBIs, leading Alabama (44-19) to a victory over Troy (47-16).
Alabama will host North Carolina in a Super Regional.
Troy reached the regional final with a 6-5 victory over Southern Miss (39-23) earlier yesterday.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C.
North Carolina 14, Winthrop 2: Tim Federowicz hit a two-run homer and Chad Flack had a two-run double to highlight a six-run fourth inning that keyed North Carolina's win over Winthrop (46-18) and put the Tar Heels (48-13) in the Super Regionals.
HOUSTON
Baylor 7, Arizona St. 2: Beamer Weems hit a three-run home run in the third inning to help rally Baylor (37-25) past Arizona State (37-21).
The Bears will meet Rice in the championship game today.
Rice 7, Baylor 2: Senior Eddie Degerman struck out a season-high 14 to pace Rice.
The Owls (52-10) jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first inning on RBI singles by Greg Buchanan and Joe Savery and an RBI double by Josh Rodriguez.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA.
Evansville 15, South Carolina 5: Robbie Minor drove in four runs, Kern Watts scored three times and Evansville (43-21) used a 12-run third inning to beat South Carolina (39-23).
The teams meet again tonight for the regional title.
Earlier yesterday, Evansville eliminated Virginia, 15-4.
CLEMSON, S.C.
Clemson 8, Mississippi State 6: Taylor Harbin drove in three runs and Clemson (50-14) rallied to reach the Super Regionals, where it will play Oral Roberts.
The Bulldogs (37-23) used a four-run sixth to take a 5-4 lead. Clemson answered with three runs in the seventh.
Mississippi State advanced to the final with a 12-3 victory over Elon (45-18) yesterday.
FAYETTEVILLE, ARK.
Oral Roberts 9, Oklahoma State 2: Chad Rothford hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning, and Oral Roberts (41-14) beat Oklahoma State (41-20) for its first regional championship.
Earlier, the Cowboys defeated Arkansas, 6-5, to advance to the final. Arkansas finished 39-21.
NORMAN, OKLA.
Oklahoma 12, Wichita State 7: Ryan Rohlinger had a season-high four hits, including a home run to start a four-run seventh inning as Oklahoma (43-20) beat Wichita State (46-21). The teams will play again today for the regional title.
The Sooners eliminated Texas Christian (39-23), 15-6, earlier yesterday to advance.
FULLERTON, CALIF.
Cal State Fulleron 10, Fresno State 3: Blake Davis went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Brandon Tripp had three hits and scored three runs to lift the Titans (46-13) past the Bulldogs (45-18) for the regional title.
Cal State Fullerton plays the Malibu Regional champion in the Super Regionals.
Fresno State defeated San Diego, 9-8, to advance to the final. San Diego finished 33-25.
MALIBU, CALIF.
Missouri 4, Pepperdine 1: Missouri's Aaron Crow allowed one run on six hits as the Tigers (34-26) avoided elimination with a victory over top-seeded Pepperdine (42-20), setting up a rematch for the regional title today.
Missouri eliminated UCLA, 2-1, yesterday. The Bruins finished 33-25.
