Airline attendant assaulted in flight

A man aboard a Hawaiian Airlines flight assaulted a male flight attendant during a flight from Honolulu to Pago Pago, American Samoa, on Thursday night, an airline official said.
The altercation occurred one hour into the five-hour flight, and the plane returned to Honolulu, said Hawaiian Airlines spokesman Keoni Wagner.
The man, whose name has not been released, was questioned by police and taken into custody, Wagner said. It wasn't clear yesterday whether he had been charged with a crime.
After a one-hour delay, the 177-passenger Boeing 767 resumed traveling to American Samoa.
"We're still investigating the circumstances, so I don't have much more at the moment," Wagner said.
It is a federal crime to interfere with a member of a flight crew during a commercial flight, Wagner said.
MAN SOUGHT IN DEATH ARRESTED
A 32-year-old Hau'ula man, whom police want to question about the death of a 34-year-old woman, was arrested yesterday afternoon on offenses not connected to the death.
The man was arrested for driving without a license and on an outstanding warrant, said Michelle Yu, police spokeswoman, adding that details about the warrant were not available.
The woman's body was found Tuesday at Turtle Bay in Kahuku. Yu said police want to question the man about the case, which was classified as an unattended death.
