ISLAND LIFE SHORTS
Charter school's CD is hot

Advertiser Staff

More than 200 musicians and students gave their kokua to produce "Mana Maoli, Vols. II and III," Halau Kumana Public Charter School's new double CD. Jack Johnson, Paula Fuga and O-shen are just a few of the performers who lent their talents to the project. What you get is unadulterated music (and video!) — the CDs include "live backyard recordings." Solomon Enos did the cover art. All proceeds go to Halau Ku Mana and the other 11 charter schools known collectively as Na Lei Na'auao. You can buy the CD at www.halekumana.org or at any school location. 988-8995.
