HEPATITIS NETWORK OF HAWAI'I

We are seeking people who want to save lives. Chronic viral hepatitis B and C are silent epidemics in Hawai'i. We need people to help in all aspects of coordinating and producing community forums and educational training, as well as nurses or medical assistants to perform low-cost hepatitis B and C tests for poor and homeless people.

    PBS HAWAI'I

    Antiques Roadshow, one of PBS's most watched programs, is coming to Honolulu for the first time on Aug. 26 at the Hawai'i Convention Center. Volunteers are needed to help with crowd control and production. The Emmy-nominated series discovers America's hidden treasures and features some of the world's most respected antiques and collectibles experts.

    MARINE CORPS COMMUNITY SERVICES

    We are looking for volunteers to work various six-hour shifts at BayFest 2006, our annual festival held at Marine Corps Base Kane'ohe during the Fourth of July weekend. Give back to our military community for the sacrifices these Marines, sailors and their families make on our behalf every day.

    On July 22, Kane'ohe families, churches, nonprofits and businesses will come together for the 7th annual Kane'ohe Day on the Bay, planned by local service providers to encourage healthy families and friendships. This year's theme is "Drug Free in Diversity."
