TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE
"Flight 93," 7, 11 p.m., A&E. On a day filled with tragedy, the passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 made a heroic decision. They rushed the hijackers and tried to take control of the plane. It crashed in a Pennsylvania field, 20 minutes before it might have hit the White House. Now here's the second cable film to dramatize those events. It uses mostly unknowns. We haven't seen the film, but it's a strong subject told by people who made some of the best A&E movies. Director Peter Markle made "Faith of My Fathers." Producer David Gerber did "The Lost Battalion."
"Courting Alex," 8:30 p.m., CBS. This comedy got off to a terrific start last week. It introduced Jenna Elfman as Alex, a sharp lawyer who works for her dad's firm and has no social life. Then it introduced her to Scott (Josh Randall), her opposite. Tonight, her dad (Dabney Coleman) learns they're dating. Also, Alex frets after being named one of New York's 10 most eligible single professionals.
OF NOTE
"Surface," 7 p.m., NBC. Only one week from its season finale, "Surface" surrounds Laura with trouble. Rich is increasingly violent, so she heads home, where young Miles is starting to behave like Nim, the creature he found. Miles responds brutally to a bully.
"Skating With Celebrities," 7 p.m., Fox. Last week, Todd Bridges took a tumble and was eliminated with his partner, Jenni Meno. That leaves five duos. Tonight, one skater has a close call and a nasty cut. The field is trimmed to four.
"How I Met Your Mother," 7:30 p.m., CBS. In a funny rerun, Lily moves in with her fiance, Marshall. That leaves his other roommate, Ted, feeling like extra baggage.
"Two and a Half Men," 8 p.m., CBS. In a fairly good rerun, Cloris Leachman, 79, plays a rich neighbor who wants to seduce Charlie (Charlie Sheen, 40).
"24," 8 p.m., Fox. With indications that there's a traitor inside the government, Jack doesn't know whom to trust.
"In Style: Celebrity Weddings," 8 p.m., ABC. Maybe the world needs one more look at the wedding of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. We get that here along with the wedding of Heidi Klum and Seal. Others include Sandra Bullock, Jason Priestley, Tiffani Thiessen, Sarah Wynter and chef Bobby Flay.
"The Bachelor: Paris," 9 p.m., ABC. This show is rushing toward its finish. Tonight, Travis takes the six women on a bike tour of Paris. At the end of the hour, he trims the field to four.
"Medium," 9 p.m., NBC. In a rerun, Allison dreams she's in a mental institution in 1975. Then she learns there really is an institutionalized woman who calls herself Allison DuBois.
