The new year lies before us like a land with hills and valleys. Sometimes we will be in the valleys of discouragement and sorrow. Sometimes we will be on the hills of joy and happiness. Life is a series of ups and downs. It behooves all of us to have a faith that enables us to face life with all its joys and sorrows, its triumphs and defeats.
