MARATHON

REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE

Local residents and active duty military stationed in Hawai'i can register for the Honolulu Marathon during the early period that runs from Saturday through Jan. 29.

Cost is $15, which is $110 less than late registrants paid in 2005.

Walk-in registration at Niketown in Waikiki will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The 2006 Honolulu Marathon is scheduled for Dec. 10, starting at 5 a.m.

Entry forms also will be mailed to 2005 marathon finishers, and the same forms will appear in The Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star-Bulletin during the early-registration period.

Each walk-in registrant will receive a complimentary Honolulu Marathon gift, while supplies last.
