Alborz's 20 propel HPU to OT win

Kamron Alborz scored 20 points as Hawai'i Pacific beat Arkansas-Monticello, 84-75, in overtime yesterday in the Hoop & Surf Tournament at Kaiser High gym.
Ryan Walker added 17 points, Logan Wolf 14 and Rishi Kakad 12 for the Sea Warriors (5-4), who outscored the Boll Weevils (4-4) 15-6 in overtime.
Nate Newell scored 26 points for Arkansas-Monticello.

Missouri Southern State 76, Hawai'i Pacific 54: Dana-Mae Robbs had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lions (8-0) past the Sea Warriors (0-10), who got 16 points from Ashley Jenkins.
Holy Family (Philadelphia) 83, Chaminade 53: Melissa Brooks scored 16 points for the Tigers (6-0), who surged to a 53-22 halftime lead in beating the Silverswords (1-6). Marian Murphy hit seven 3-pointers and scored 23 points for CU.
