Rockers fill lineup for Worship Bash

The second annual Summer Youth Worship Bash, an all-day worship and concert, will be held 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 2 at Kualoa Ranch.

The lineup includes: Christian/punk rock bands Pennylane and Aces; Hoku nominee 7 Simple Pieces; and Limit X and Milele. In addition, Miss Hawai'i Pilialoha Gaison will speak and perform.

Tickets: $10 ($12 at the gate), includes lunch and a light dinner; available at Logos, Agape, Living Stone Cafe and Hidden Treasures.

LEARN ABOUT TENDING TO YOUR CHILD'S HEART

Author Tedd Tripp will offer a parenting training session at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8 and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 9 at Trinity Presbyterian Church and Trinity Christian School.

Tripp, author of "Shepherding a Child's Heart," suggests parents look beyond the surface behavior of children and to minister to the needs of the child that are arising from the heart.

Cost is $40 (includes lunch).
